cats in mass production

I continue to work on Elizabeth Hartman’s cat quilt-along.

I did some fussy-cutting on this cat. Once I had him pieced . . .

I realized he resembles a feline version of Alex in Clockwork Orange!

    Love them !

  2. I noticed the cat eyes before I read your post. Although I’m not a cat person, I love this little quilt and referred it to my cat loving friends.

  3. Your cats are making me want to jump into this one, but so far I am resisting!

    • You are doing so well staying on top of Celtic Solstice (which is a much bigger undertaking!). I am vicariously enjoying all of your hard work. What’s nice about the Catvent is that it’s not necessarily holiday themed–I think it’d be a good March doldrums project.

  4. Thank you for commenting on my blog. I love these blocks. They look so feline and yet you just used the normal standard pieces. I may do this in the future (far future since I have so many things on my plate.

  5. For a moment I got anxious when I read mass production. This is an awesome project!

    • I know–isn’t Elizabeth Hartman clever?! To me, it feels like mass production, but I am slow and methodical. Once completed, I will have made 48 kitty faces. I am a few cats behind–I hope that maybe by the second week in January, once my older kids return to college and the household routine is back to normal, that I can finish!
